Research interests

I perform atomistic numerical simulations aiming at a theoretical understanding of the topic of vapour nucleation near hydrophobic surfaces. The main tool of investigation is Molecular Dynamics together with state of the art rare events sampling techniques allowing us to explore and characterize rugged free energy landscapes. I am also interested in the general phenomena of wetting and rare events.
