Research interests

My research activity focuses on cavitation in micro-confined systems. The study concerns the bubbles nucleation and dynamics inside biological micro-structures and bio-inspired systems. Several experimental techniques are used as fast-imaging, interferometry and acoustics. Moreover, ultrasounds effects on cavitation bubbles inside endothelium vessels are investigated for drug delivery applications using a bio-inspired chip. Fluorescence technique is here exploited.
